Coffee BBQ Glaze
The pitmaster's secret: coffee makes barbecue taste deeper.
🕒 10 min🍴 ~1 cup (2 racks of ribs)
You'll need
- ½ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp QuicKafe concentrate
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp smoked paprika + ½ tsp garlic powder
How to make it
- Simmer everything together for 5–8 minutes until glossy and thick enough to coat a spoon.
- Brush onto ribs, brisket, chicken, or pork chops during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
- The coffee doesn't taste like coffee here — it adds a dark, roasted depth that makes the smoke and sugar taste more like themselves.
☕ Good to know: Shortcut version: whisk 1 tbsp of concentrate into any store-bought BBQ sauce and take full credit.
🍯 Flavor pairing: ORIGINAL is the move — though the HAZELNUT-glazed pork chop has its devotees.
